I have only had the washer for 1 day but love all the features and the tub size. I had a top load for 1 1/2 years and did not even get all the clothes wet. Love the front load.

After having an front loader infested with mold, and then a top loader that eventually reeked of mold, we came across this model when searching for a new washer. It was like a dream come true
PROS:
1. Ultravent - this is the MAIN reason we got the machine. Even though we have plenty of room to keep the door opened, I knew I wouldn't be disciplined enough to dry out all aspects of that rubber gasket and it would possibly get grimy with time. The Ultravent works really well and after inspection after each ultravent cycle it seems all dry
2. Smart Dispense - One of the reasons we probably developed mold in our former washers was using too much detergent. LOVE the smart dispense as you just fill it and the machine automatically dispenses the correct amount of detergent. Ingenious!
3. WiFi connect - I am always forgetting to remove wet laundry (again contributing to our former mold problem) but I am never without my smartphone. The app sends me alerts when laundry is almost done and more alerts to tell me that laundry has been in the machine for 30 min and I haven't removed it yet.

CONS:
1. Every review has remarked on how quiet the machine is. Our washer is on the 2nd floor and we can hear it while it's running (and not clearly only when it's on the spin cycle). Our old machine didn't make nearly as much noise. The machine seems level and it doesn't really vibrate or shake. Not sure exactly how to rectify this. I read through troubleshooting but may need to investigate more.
2. I tried to reverse the door so that it would open to the right instead of to the left (standard) but got stuck on step #4 (remove the assembly by pulling it toward the center pushing it up and pulling it out). Does this take a lot of manpower? It seems if I kept pushing and pulling it would break the plastic. So I gave up (not that big a deal).
3. I do notice a wee bit of 'leakage' of laundry detergent from the smart dispenser down into the gasket near the bottom after the end of an Ultravent cycle. I use a soft cloth to gently wipe it away (sticky/slimy). Not sure if it's related to the type of detergent we use (HE but not Tide brand) but hopefully this won't cause a long-term problem.

Overall we love the washing machine and the cons are minor and potentially fixable. As echoed in many of the other reviews, it is big and looks great. Time will tell if the Ultravent will really prevent long-term mold problems. Hopefully the electronics will hold up long-term.

This washer has so many great features and wash cycles, but I’m just going to touch on a few of my favorite features on this upgrade: 1) WiFi connectivity - sends me notifications when the cycle is five minutes from completion, completed, and has sat for 30 minutes past completion...no more forgetting to transfer laundry; 2) Smart Dispense holds enough detergent to do approximately 50 loads and automatically dispenses based on load size; 3) the Ultra Fresh Vent system prevents smells and mildew without having to leave the door opened; 4) I appreciate the light inside the drum; 5) 1 step wash and dry for small, light loads

It washes big king size comforters with ease but the ultra fresh vent system doesn’t do what it is supposed to. The washer stays wet inside.

This is the most incredible appliance! It is huge an handles really large amounts of fabric. The vent drying feature is amazing! Plus, it is a really great looking piece. The features make the machine a no brainer when washing a load. If you have kids, you NEED this machine because it has features for quick washes and a wash and dry feature!

So far great washer! Has a huge tub, I am able to wash so many things at once. Love the smart dispense laundry soap. Just add lots of detergent & then it will automatically add proper amount of soap to each load. After washing, I use the vent feature, it's amazing, dries out the entire tub so you can keep the door closed. Love the app, I get notified five minutes before cycle is done, then when cycle completed. Also, get notified when clothes are left in the washer.

quietness of the washer and ventilation system

I love my new washer, especially the new ventilation system that removes moisture from the washer when its not in use. Another good feature that I like is that it measures the right amount of detergent by weight those cloths inside of the washer and it send the correct amount of liquid to use and saving me money.
